Carriage Information

RT Supplies Ltd (RTS) ship all around the world so please check the carriage information below and if in doubt please get in touch.

RTS does not seek to profit out of shipping. The website is set up with table rate shipping that reflects the packaging and shipping cost as closely as possible and you will see the cost in your basket prior to checkout.

UK & Northern Ireland.

Standard Carriage 3-7 working days subject to location on all items.
Express Shipping (non CO2 items) next working day delivery for orders completed before 10:30am excluding weekends. To some areas I use Royal Mail Tracked 24 which can be 2-3 days in some areas.
Express Shipping CO2 – next working day delivery for orders completed before 10:30am excluding weekends to English Mainland, Wales and Scottish Lowlands and is normally with DPD who manage to attain next day shipping over 95% of the time.
Express Shipping of CO2 to some parts of the Scottish Highlands, UK Islands and Northern Ireland is available but is quite expensive. The price can be checked in the basket prior to checkout.

I use a combination of couriers and the Royal Mail for UK customers subject to the items ordered and the delivery location.

Channel Islands.

The Royal Mail treats the Channel Islands as rest of UK so any Non CO2 items can be shipped to the Channel Islands at the Standard UK rate for Royal Mail Tracked 24 or 48 but usually takes 2-3 extra days.
CO2 Items are more difficult as Royal Mail will not handle. Channel Island Rates for CO2 items are for land/sea transport by courier.

International Carriage including Ireland (non CO2).

Standard Carriage typically takes 4-12 working days subject to location using Royal Mail International Signed, International Tracked or Tracked & Signed subject to the service available in the delivery location.
Express Carriage – using a range of express couriers is typically is 2 – 7 working days. I use a range of couriers and try to pick the best option for each location from Fedex, UPS, DHL and DPD.

The RTS shipping cost tables are set so that as the value of order increases, the express shipping becomes the better option, purely because sending high value orders by mail and/or over 2kg is also problematic and it is better to ship with a courier.

NB. In some locations the customs clearance procedures can create delays and the above times whilst typical, are a guide.

International Carriage for CO2.

RTS no longer exports CO2. CO2 Gas Cylinders are UN Class 2 Dangerous Goods and it has become more complicated due to Dangerous Goods regulations and shortage of capacity for DG shipments by air. It can be done for larger volume, typically box quantities, and any enquiries will be considered.
